CGC Signing with Conner, Palmiotti, Steranko
Co-founders of Paperfilms, Conner and Palmiotti are currently working on the Harley Quinn relaunch and other Harley titles for DC Comics. Their work is also featured in Marvel Knights, Jonah Hex, Ninjak, Powergirl, Silk Spectre, Captain Marvel, and Wonder Woman.
Steranko is a writer-artist who flew to fame when he turned Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD into a popular feature. His approach to both design and storytelling have gained him the nickname, the Innovator. A Wizard magazine poll named him one of the five Most Influential Artists of All Time.
“I have been working with CGC for years, and I’m very excited to spend a day at their headquarters, signing books and interacting with all of the people who support us,” said Palmiotti. “I can’t wait to see what’s submitted, from our newer works to the classics that got us where we are today.”
“While it looks like the conventions are going to be a bust this year, this CGC in-house private signing means you can still get signed comics! It won’t be the same as seeing all of your beautiful faces in person, but you can still fill out some of your collection,” Conner added.
For the in-house private signings, free and paid CGC members can submit their collectibles to the CGC headquarters in Florida. CGC will coordinate with the pair to have the collectibles signed in mid-July.
If the signing needs to be rescheduled due to travel restrictions or other reasons, CGC will secure submissions in their vault until it can be rescheduled
Books can be submitted for both Conner and Palmiotti or individually. After they are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an expedited turnaround time of three weeks. If CCS pressing is also requested, the turnaround tie will extend to six weeks.
The CGC in-house private signing fee for Palmiotti and Conner is $60 for an individual signature or $70 for both signatures on one item. The fee for Steranko is $85 This includes the signature, encapsulation, and shipping. CGC must receive the submissions at CGC’s office by Friday, June 26, 2020.
